This opportunity is in the Information Services Department.

Role Description:

This is a Senior-level professional position which contributes to the accomplishment of I.S. practices, and objectives that will achieve business goals and objectives. Works without immediate supervision and direction. Leads and mentors others within Infrastructure. Demonstrates advanced working knowledge and concepts of Information Technology

 Some of the Essential Functions of this role are:

  • Develop, create, and implement a comprehensive vulnerability management program that aligns with our business objectives and risk appetite
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Security, Compliance, Privacy, and Business stakeholders to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities, and develop effective remediation plans
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring that vulnerability management priorities are well-understood and integrated into business processes
  • Drive continuous improvements in vulnerability management processes and tools by leveraging industry-leading technologies, automation, and data-driven insights
  • Keep up to date on industry trends, emerging threats and best practices in vulnerability management and adapt the program accordingly
  • Develop and deliver regular metrics, reports, KPIs and presentations to leadership and key stakeholders, communicating the status and effectiveness of the vulnerability management program

Qualifications:

Education:

Education/Experience (Must meet at least two of the following criteria)

  • A Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Assurance or related field Preferred)
  • A Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the area of networking Infrastructure
  • Possess five or more approved certifications within job area.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience building and running a successful comprehensive vulnerability management program
  • Experience building and maintaining vulnerability metrics that can be easily understood and leveraged to reduce risk
  • Experience Conducting vulnerability scans and recognizing vulnerabilities in security systems.
  • Ability to develop insights about the context of an organization’s threat environment
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principals and best practices accompanied by experience in managing security risks
  • At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure or application-level vulnerability scanning, testing and auditing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Use of penetration testing tools and techniques. (e.g., Burp suite, Metasploit, Wireshark, Kali Linux).
  • 5 years of experience in support and administration of Windows/Linux and Cisco network equipment
  • Strong experience and detailed technical knowledge in security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, application security and cloud security.
  • Detailed knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and the development of exploits
  • CISSP certification

The target salary range for this position is $104,000 to $166,000 It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.
